Lucy, the Centre Director of Nyararai Children’s Trust, sent us another message of thanks and appreciation following our Saturday afternoon visit. The institution serves as a safe haven for children taken from the streets or brought in by the Social Welfare Department. The majority of the females have been subjected to emotional and sexual abuse. There are now 17 children between the ages of 2 and 16. The ZimWorX crew paid a visit to the facility and spent some time listening to the narrative of how Gogo Gunduza offered her home to abandoned children in need of love and care. We played with the kids and even provided some food.
